Throughout your time at Shockout , you will acquire a thorough grounding in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Commercial, Hip Hop and Street dance, developing the knowledge and skills needed for a career in a variety of exciting and demanding professions in this industry.
Our courses build upon this training regime by also incorporating an eclectic mix of theory relevant subjects. This fusion of both the practical and theoretical enables our students to prosper and grow as confident, unique artists, under the careful guidance of our excellent faculty.
Arts (Degree)
Shockout Arts is primarily based at our main site in Manchester City Centre, and offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in dance and musical theatre.

BTEC (Diploma)
Our fully funded BTEC courses are specifically designed to prepare the students with the essential practical skill set, theoretical knowledge and professional etiquette needed to ensure a successful career in the dance and musical theatre arena & progression to higher education.
Associate Programme (14+)
Shockout Associates provide a programme for raw young-talented individuals who would like to take their training to the next step. We build upon their foundations and the knowledge they have gained so far within their own self practice by intensifying their level of training with our own Shockout syllabus work in genres of dance such as commercial, ballet technique, jazz technique and hip-hop foundations.
Scholarship
We also offer the Elliott Campion Scholarship Programme. The following guidance is for aspiring dance hopefuls who strive to realise their true potential and change the world through dance.
